What Mouse Do You Use?

Hi Guys,

I was looking to buy a new mouse, and was wondering if I could get some advice. Do Gaming mouses improve you game? Also is cordless or corded mouses better?

Also in your opinion what is the best mouse to get?

I have no idea what to get and I have searched on the internet for reviews, but I thought I might try and get some real feed back from people.

Saitek GM3200



the 3200dip of it is tbh exstramly useless apart from if you want to spin the turret on the tank like a mad thing but its a good mouse apart from my mmb is starting to fail on it but saitek says thats not a normal issue and are willing to replace it :)

it has a real nice feel to it thou with there spical rubber plastic material and all

I think they definitly improve your game and I am a big beliver in gaming mice.

Also, I will always trust corded over cordless. Never liked batteries over my gold-plated USB :)

Well it depends on the person indefinitly, and you just have to search it out.
So with that said, I will tell you what I have:


Razer Viper



I think this may be discontinued now, but it is what I have.

It has abnormally large top buttons and a unique grip that is still as good as it was when I opened it out of the box two years ago. It works well, responds great, and fits my hand.
It does not have any side buttons or anything, and I bought it because I have never been big on the extra buttons.

No jokes, Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 is the way forward. Lots of reasons:

Cheap (£6.99)
Good quality
Small number of buttons - Essential in games when, on gaming mice you try to find the trigger and you hit suicide because of the other 4 million buttons.
Its a good mouse

Razer Copperhead

The Logitec G9 is by far the best mouse out right now.. I have had the Razer dimondback and then I got the Razer Copperhead and the G9 feel's about 10x better and the botton's are placed in way better area's of the mouse.. you have to play with it for about 15 min's and you will never want to use any other mouse ever agian... most people just go with the razers cuz they are cheaper but the extra 30 buck's is worth it 10x over.. I really didnt think a mouse could make such a big difference as my razers did not.. but the shape of the G9 is really what make's it so good and so easy to click... razer copperhead get's a 5 out of 10 and the G9 get's a 10... you just can't go wrong..

MX310 for me, tried Razers and Logitech's 5 series, they were either uncomfortable(razer) or too bulky(5)

Yeah I have a Logitech G5 (paired with my G15 ) and I'm very happy with it. I'll definitely throw my vote in for Logitech...I'll have to check out the G9 now in some store to see how it feels.

I use an Aldi Gaming mouse which is a rip off of the G5 but it is very good quality

I vote for the Logitech MX518 or if you can stretch your budget further, the Logitech G5.
