I liked District 9 immensely but I dunno I just found that I couldn't take some of it seriously, I don't know if its just the British sense of humour but for much of the film me and my family were laughing a lot lol.

Saw Avatar today and can i say:

ITS ****ING SPECTACULAR

The movie goes for 3 hours and not once in the film did it feel like it, simply stunning visuals with a fantastic concept for the storyline and just pure brilliance the entire way through, i would go watch it again right now if i could, simply amazing.

I said earlier that the best film of 2009 was District 9 but Avatar simply ****s all over it.

i liked it too but there was a tad bit much of that suspense/tension building with these long conversations people had i mean i knew what was going to happen just get it over with. but other than that yeah the movie was good.


the last movie i saw was ninja asassin and...........it delivered the fighting,action,blood,shooting,throwing stars and all that good stuff but then the only thing that bugged me about it was how this 1 guy is able to kill all of these people i mean the movie wasnt trying to be realistic but sometimes they just take it a bit too far.

from what you guys are saying i think i should probably go see avatar on sunday..sounds like its worth it.

all of the hype and advertising they have been doing for the movie is a tad annoying though and generally makes me want to do the opposite and NOT watch it
