    dual 8600gt vs 8800gt

    For the system that im getting would two asus 8600gt 512mb ddr3 in sli have better performance than an xfx 8800gt?

    380 is high i picked up an OC bfg 8800 GT for 279 at best buy they also sold the OC2 but wasnt in stock for about 309

      i live in australia and prices are alot higher here. check out some of the other 8800gt's at this shop $120+ more expensive

      lol the xfx 880gt is cheaper and is overclocked

        honestly i would get the 8800 GT but thats me talking lol alot of other people on here know more about that then me but from my point of view if u want something to last a bit longer for the long run the 8800 GT is the way to go, for me anyways, see i had the money for the GTX but i just went with the GT because i dont have a big monitor, plus alot of peeps stated the GTX was overkill unless i am playing high end games like crysis which im not

            yeah but think for the future. When I bought my X850XT for $220 it was perfect! It played just about every game on high settings with awesome performance. Although I can play CoD4 fine. I find myself turning down a few settings, turning down the resolution and stuff just to keep that high frame rate. A few more months and I'm going to need a new video card again!

              i can finally play BF2142 and BF2 and actually kill lol without lag and crappy FPS but i want a better processor i was on a budget, just got out of the military, i bought the P5K premium black pearl board but not sure if it was a good buy or not

                  yea im happy with it i went from an amd 3800 to that, but i was sketchy on the board after i bought it i found some bad reviews on it
