8800 GT FTW, ATI is only a year late with keeping up with the Nvidia 8 series, who knows what Nvidia has been doing that whole year. Lets wait and see.

I heard the new ATIs are supposed to be around $240 - $250. The cheapest 8800GT I've seen was $259 at future shop, and then about $265 at newegg/tigerdirect (forget which one exactly), so not a huge price difference if it's true about the ATI price.

its a true quad core, you can clock each core individually unlike intel that has 2 C2D stuck together

I guess the person who told me the new ATI cards are aabout $250 had his information wrong because I just checked newegg and they're $180 - $220. That is REALLY cheap.

Im guessing ati is gonna rack a lot of sales with 8800gt's being out of stock and christmas shopping rising.

for $60 less than a 8800gt and only a 11% decrease or so,great buy.Plus we saw the 2900xt get much improved with the drivers,so im assuming we can only expect better performance.

true, hence why ill get another 3870 around xmas and take advantage of crossfire

you can attach a thermaltake duoOrb on it without removing the ramsinks that will reduce the temps by 20C or so
