mine hits 62C max in lotro, which is cpu/gup intensive.

i tried stock, not so happy...back at 3.2ghz w/e6600 for me.

my ram is holding me back at this point...but not enough to justify monetary outlay.

si-128 (awesome) for taming temps. i have one fan incoming and 62C is highest i've seen.

if you have sideport, temps will be better. i don't (antec p180 original).

yes, thats how I put it on, in fact I printed that pdf before i started.

Have you got high ambient temperatures? That's a major factor. If the cooler is blowing in air at 20*C, it'll definitely be better than air at 50*C (my crappy case ).

ambient room temp was 23c (74f).

Speedfan reports the same temperature. But, nothing heats it up so much as TAT.
