    New graphics card

Yeah I'm buying a new graphics card. At the moment I think I'll buy Radeon X1950, Geforce 7600 GT or 7800 GT(?), so wich one is better for me? Also, I'd like to know that does my computer run with it.

    Specs:

    Intel Pentium 4, 2800 Mhz
    Asus P4P800
    Windows XP Home Edition
1022 MB RAM, I'll maybe buy 512 MB more.
    Dell D1028L :)
    Ati Radeon 9800 Pro

I'm not willing to pay more that 200$

    AGP?

either way if its AGP or PCI-express the card will be fine for BF2, instead of getting another 512mb, 1gb would be better :)

P4P800 was agp; you should be able to get an x1950pro for less than $200

      $134 after $30 rebate

I'd take the louder one, that cooler really isn't worth the extra $40.

Okay so I'll be able to run good with it? Also, can I play with high video settings with it without lags? And yeah, I maybe buy more than 512 MB RAM.

You need more ram (2gb is best) to run "all high", but there's really no reason to run on all high. Shadows in BF2 are poorly done and annoying, and sometimes the high lighting options look quirky (but sometimes they look phenomenal). Res + 4-6xAA + textures + geometries + view distance on high, rest a mix between medium, high, and off to taste. You have to experiment.

Folks will tell you your cpu is a little on the weakish side, but as long as you aren't trying to run software audio + streaming audio + vent + av/as/fw in the background, it'll be fine for BF2 and adequate for most other heavily 3d games.

Well I use TeamSpeak, but no other programs. So if I'll buy some more RAM, I can use all on high but if not I can still use few on high? And also is that card very good?

what video card do you currently have? with that processor you might see only a little difference.

what size monitor do you have? is it an lcd?

and yes, you will see a giant increase in your frames-per-second, and you will be able to crank up the eye candy.

edit: you need at least a decent 450W psu w/+25A on the +12v rail for that card.

Dunno. Just know that my monitor is Dell D1028L. Gonna check it later.

E: Well it seems like it's not working so good for me, so should I buy GeForce 7600 or something?
