I'm talking purely on connection quality, nothing to do with the nuances of wireless security. It's apples to apples, specifically green apples to red apples. Nothing to do with connection speed either.

The only thing I compared is signal quality, packet loss, ping, etc.

      Ethernet Pros:
      • Fast, transferring data at up to 1000 Mbps
      • Less expensive to install than wireless
      • Not prone to interference

      Wireless Pros:
      • Cable-free networking
      • Freedom and mobility to work anywhere in the house — even outside
      • Easy to install
      • Compatible with Ethernet networks
      • Ideal for notebook users

try turning off the router and modem, then turn them back on. This usually fixes connection issues. Perhaps set your ip staticly to the router and make yourself the DMZ.
