dumb question

how do I delete windows completely from my HD?, I want to reformat and I don't have anything important so I don't care :p (I do have a windows CD)

Boot from the cd, follow the on screen prompts, and when you come to the right section, delete and format the drive/partition.

Do it using this persons suggestions, however, if you just want Windows formatted, without reinstalling, use a freeware formatter. Just google something like bootable disk cleaner. I soon found myself a freeware ISO that could be burnt onto CD and booted from. It did a 5 times wipe over the disk and rendered it empty. Took a while though.
