    Love EVGA!!

OMG like I just realized something sooo cool about EVGA..

What is it? Well I bought my GTX card 83 days ago and I have 90 days to step it up. What am I going to do? STEP IT UP! An Ultra costs about the exact same what I paid for my GTX now and I only have to pay the difference.

That is such a bonus. I better get started right away on the process =P:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

For a step up program, do you have to pay the postage to send back your card and get the new one?

Thanks! The only bad points are the early office hours and the fact that Scinto always eats the donuts before anyone else gets a see in!

Be prepared to pay upwards of $60 or more for shipping it to Evga (assuming you're in Canada seeing as you posted a link to TD Canadian site). Also the cost of the card you want in the Step-up is the MSRP that is shown on Evga's site for said card, not what ever price you may find posted anywhere else; and the prices are all in $US.

Also if there was a rebate on your card at the time you bought it and claimed it, it has to be added back to the price you paid for the card (say you paid $500 with a $50 rebate, Evga bases the difference on the $500 not $450).

What if you've OCed or flashed BIOS?

More importantly, could I flash my BIOS back to the original without them knowing?

I would kill for this kind of thing in the UK.

                It is,

The EVGA Step-upâ„¢ Program is limited to residents of the Continental US, Canada and Europe only.

YMMV as to which European countries qualify. Unless you live in the US, make sure you really look at what it will actually cost to use the Step-up.

We will probably be made to send the cards to the USA, and pay for the package both ways. That was they can say that Europeans aren't missing out and they don't make a loss.

The ultra is only a 5% preformance boost on res's sub 1650x150, why not just OC your GTX higher than the ULTRA and not waste time waiting for it in the mail.

Because I tried to OC it to the ultra specs but I kept crashing after. I don't know where to turn up the card voltage either. The fact is that its a cheap solution. If it costs a lot of $$$ than I'll simply end the process.
