Hey guys! I am new to these forums. :) I was wondering if anyone new a good PC that would run BF2 perfectly on the highest settings. Nothing extra. Only designed for BF2. How much would one cost and where would you get it? Thanks for your thoughts!

That really depends on the size of your screen and the resolution your running it at.
Though, BF2 doesn't need a quad core to run it. I'm pretty sure the E6420 would do the job. But I think you'll be happier buying a quad in the longer run.
Maybe consider upping the gpu to a 8800 gts 320mb. Only $100 more but once that quad price drops to 266 it would fit in there... Somewhat?
Lastly, an aftermarket fan would be better if you plan on doing any OC'ing on your quad. I think everyone likes the artic ones. I'd have to get back to you on linkxsys
Just to give another opinion of that system, here's what I'd change.
1) Quad Core is completely unnecessary. I'm on a Pentium D (upgrading soon), and I play 1280x1024 everything Maxed-out. (Including 6xAA) So for a CPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ommend a E6320. It's fine at stock speeds, and even better as you OC it.
2) For memory, I prefer Corsair, but that's a personal thing. The muskin will do fine. If I were picking I'd get this.
3) Don't get a 8600GTS. For $20 LESS I could get a X1950XT, which is more powerful than a 8600GTS. If you game with a 19in LCD, The X1950XT is OVERKILL. But if you game at higher resolutions, the XT is a very good card.
4)I wouldn't get a Rosewill PSU for anything. If you want a quality PSU, Look at Antec, Seasonic, Corsair, Forton Source, or PC Power and Cooling. All make good PSU's. Don't skimp on a PSU! But keep in mind that a 300W PSU is normally plenty. But to be safe I'd recommend 380W-450W.
So if I completely had my way: Case- NSK4400, Mobo-A Gigabyte P35 board, CPU- E6320, HSF- Scythe Ninja, Memory- Corsair DDR2-800 CAS 4 (2GB), Video-Sapphire X1950Pro/XT, HDD Doesn't really matter, DVD Drive Doesn't really matter.
That's about $800 for just a box. (Newegg prices) Guaranteed to play BF2 at 1280x1024 with settings maxed out at more than 45 FPS (avg).
e6420 makes much more sense, unless you're planning on moving from bf2 to being a Supreme Commander Freakazoid, in which case you can make good use of 4 cores.
for the mobo, my personal preference would be a 680i-based board for the same price. p35 offers DDR3 compatibility, but by the time it makes (financial) sense to upgrade to ddr3, you're going to want a new board anyway to make the higher fsb's and memory settings. besides that, there are some known (and unknown, lol)bugs with that brand-spanking new chipset.
If you don't mind sending the rebate in and waiting for the money, the 900 case makes good sense, too. Case is a matter of taste, and there's no telling what the neon 1eetsterz like today. :)
there's no reason to buy an 8600gt. The lowest budget card you should consider is an x1950pro. I've got the sapphire x1950xt and like ^ said, it's overkill on a 19" monitor for BF2. If you don't want to spend the extra money for an 8800gts, then i would recommend the x1950xt by HIS. The sapphire one is cheap and it's decent silicon, but the fan is awful. It sounds like a dustbuster, so I ended up having to buy a vf900-cu to keep it cool and quiet.
actually, now that i checked the price, nm. i'd still buy the sapphire, mail in the rebate, and buy an aftermarket cooler:

don't skimp on the psu. watts aren't everything. with free shipping and a rebate, i like the antec trio. i've got the 650W version, but the 550W is sufficient with some room for overclocking:
