one more thing before i buy.

i opened it up one last time to see what available connectors i have. I looked around, and found out i have a fan in the low front and another in the rear high. im not sure of it, but i see a silver box which i think contins the "power supply," because thats where the power outlet plugs into. I realized this because all the cables lead into this box, from the dvd drive, floppy disc etc.

Ive located a four-pin connector, kind of hanging in the middle of the motherboard, dvd drive, and power supply. Thing is, its attached to the dvd wires. like this:

DVD====== Spare 4 pin outlet (in the middle, kind of hanging out) ===== PS.

is it ok if i plug the fan into this spare? its gonna sit right below my 7600 gt. sorry for my bad computer grammar..

EDIT: i found a picture, itl better explain what i mean. I labelled what i have plugged into. i want to know if its ok if i plug my fan into the SPARE.

if the new fan has a pass through (male and female plugs) just unplug one of the old fans, plug the new on into that wire, and plug the old one into the wire from the new fan.

you can also plug it into the four-pin power cord hanging off the back of your optical drive, but i personally prefer running all my fans on the same cord.

i purchased the sl1 thermaltake. Thank you all for your replies, you saved me a lot of research. Ill tell ya how it goes once it arrives!
