    It might be a problem with the resolution. I know there is some way to reset the resolution back to 800x600, or another resolution, but I don't remember. Hopefully someone else will know..

      Start BF2 by appending the command line "+szx 1234 +szy 5678" where "1234" is the width and "5678" the height, of the native resolution of that monitor. Also start it in windowed mode.

        Thats interesting. I agree with camperstrike that you should look into the bf2 target. If you know the native res of your tv enter it in that line. For a more detailed example, use this link:

        I'm surprised your having troubles with the VGA port though... And that was the res I was running at on a 50" tv I think. I had a whole whack of choices but they never exceeded that res even if I selected higher res.
