I bought a 950w power supply just for extra reliability (got the 8800GTX) . But 750-850 will do fine. You need a good processor (I choose AMD 5000+ Dual Core) because having the gts without a good processor is pointless. Not sure about the GTS, but the GTX is 28cm long so i was kinda suprised when i got it out the box, make sure it fits in your PC case as people have had problems with that. Also you need "Extra long dual slots" for your card.

and i just want a cheep 8800gts as im only a kid and i have 450 2 spend is it worth getting a better fan+heat sink than the one that comes with it?

Wrong again. The initial rating of 26a required is for your total system...so unless you plan to buy 2 of everything else in your PC, then obviously it wouldn't work out to be 26a for each card, or each line...no matter how you phrase it.

It shows 22amps on each 12v rail...more than enough for either your 8800gts or 8800gtx. If you buy this PSU, you will be fine.
The description has me almost laughing tears:

It is, after all, very important that you get Real power and not the fake shight. Electrons are easy to fabricate, being tiny and all. Oh, and if you're going to pay $100 for power, you've just got to get it...pulsating.
