Those kind of essays are bullcrap, as are timed essays on exams. I hate them. I always feel like I can't write an essay well if I'm being told exactly how to write it. It's not conducive to good writing and style. I do like writing long research style papers on topics of my choice, though. I get to write them on something I'm actually interested in and at my own style/pace.

I'm gonna be writing a 35-40 page paper next year before I graduate. Wheee Classics. :weo:
