The most that could happen is your throat stays sore. Which then you should go to the doctor because you probably have strep. Dont swallow the water so you dont dehydrate.

    Youll be fine.

HA! Spik3d, #1 rule in this, dont swallow.

I wake up between 5:30 and 6 every morning.

But I'm studying all of Spring in Rome and definitely will not be getting up that early ever.

I had to wake up at 5:30am in Highschool (I think my sophomore year) for a whole school year. It was terrible.

Installing a digital scoreboard at a trucking terminal. Unfortunately it was a small terminal without a man lift so they parked a tall trailer near the mounting point and I had to shimmy up a ladder and work on top of it. The rain just added a degree of difficulty.

Maybe i can learn to use the force and just levitate up next time. :P

Not that it actually matters but salt doesn't cause you to dehydrate, quite the opposite. In fact too much salt will cause you to retain too much liquid which leads to other problems.

If you think you are getting dehydrated from loss of fluids you'll want to drink rehydration liquids containing sugars and salts.

Many people when they get dehydrated try to avoid salt due to this very common misconception and they get hyponatremia.

Still, like Crunch said, you don't want to start downing salt water..

Drinking a cup of salt water won't kill you, assuming you still drink fresh water.

If you are, say, stuck at sea and start drinking lot's of salt water and no fresh water, the salt will act as a diuretic and you won't be able to intake enough salt-water to even it out, causing you to become dehydrated.
