Probably the single most boring sport to watch ever. I'm sure it's fun to play, but by God it makes you yawn.

I much prefer NHL over it

Golf trumps American "Football". But yeah, it's close to the top of boring to watch sports/events.

F1 racing is next.

Best type of Motor Racing is definitely Touring Cars. I love the BTCC.

However, if you go to it live, Drag Racing is immense. I need to go back to Santa Pod soon to see the Top Fuelers!

WRC topped touring cars, not disagreing with you as WRC went to **** in 2005. 2004 was my favourite season.

Personally, WRC is probably the best form of motor racing.

Skill, precision, planning, reflexes, and just pure fun.

Don't get me wrong, I love touring car racing too, I went to Oulton Park every year from 1997 to 2001. Loved it, though it's as exciting and fun as the WRC, I don't value the work behind the races as much.

Two wonderful renditions of motorsport, easily.

Yea, I used to go to Thruxton to watch the BTCC and Castle Combe for GT racing. BTCC went to **** around 2000 when privateers started dropping out and you were left with like 5 teams. It's a lot better now, bigger field.

I do love WRC though, I happen to catch a lot on Dave and it's really great to watch. Always makes me want to play DiRT!

God yes, early 90's and early 2000 were the golden years (well, the time I was alive to see it atleast). Carlos Sainz and Colin McRae are legends.

So no one used to watch racers such as: Alain Menu, Rickard Rydell, Gabriele Tarquinin, David Leslie, Patrick Watts, Tim Harvey, Paul Radisich, Biela, Bintcliffe etc...

It was a sad period. And yeah, early 2000, old school drivers vs new school ones. McRae made WRC into a fantastic spectator sport with his "all in" driving.

The earliest I remember must be the '94 season where Volvo raced an estate car. Back then, aerodynamic performance modifications were not allowed, so no spoilers and the like.

This meant that estate cars were actually more aerodynamic, so Jan Lammers raced the Volvo 950 (i think?)
