              Manu... Chelsea yawn.

Are you one of those people who has absolutely no connection to either place yet has supported them before they were "famous".

I meet a lot of them and pity them.

I've been supporting them while they were well into their "famous" era. What's your point?

Are you arguing the fact that the Premier League is exclusive to the United Kingdom? Or are you masquerading the fact that you support a ****ty team that has no hopes of making it anywhere close to the top flight? Is there an issue here? Does a person not have the right to support a team just because he isn't from there?

I came to the Chester,UK in July 1996, because school starts in Aug/Sept. I've been supporting Manchester United since then. During the Cantona years, does that not give me enough credibility to support such a team? Or do I have to be an age old descendant?

TBH with you, my father is a supporter since the 70's, during the years that Manchester United did ****.

Your argument has this inane arrogance that nearly every other British person has towards supporters of successful teams.

                But WHAT is your point?

EDIT: BTW, don't say," This is why I pity them, they argue, support, rant on if they are insulted etc in some way", because what else will a supporter do? Just stand there and say, "Yeah, so?".

Well, I hope you've had yours.

Because I see no rational reason to your opinion. Just makes you seem like an inane and arrogant bigot.

And I still don't see why a person can't support a club that doesn't originate from the same place they do. Then how do international supporters fit in?

So, you're telling me that your opinion of who I support would be different if I had said I supported Crystal Palace?

                          eww Crystal Palace

I find a lot of hate these days is from supporters who call others "glory hunters", they hear someone supports such and such team and assume its only because they won something, and that they have never watched them

which is sort of **** given that for some people they cant go to the ground, hell when I was young my dad would take me to see Liverpool at Anfield and that was a 6 hour journey ffs

but Stan Collymore owned back then so

I don't think any other footballer can be as proud as Collymore, his dogging incident was teh epic. But not his wife (girlfriend?) beating.

Football is rubbish, its an idustry that pays people a **** load of money for having good coordination. Balding men kicking a bag of air around a field getting sweaty and would fall on the floor if you sneezed on them. No thanks.
