God im fed up with people telling me what music I should like. Frankly I think the beasty boys are ****e. I think Oasis were ****e. I like pop punk, its fun and well recorded. One thing I hate most is people who try to be really musically intellectual, again I dont care who wrote the ****ing song and no i dont want to listen to it. At the end of the day my right nipple has more talent than these ****ers and I dont need to know about music, I write the ****ing stuff.

I needed to get that out there.

Even though you say that, the early stuff, around late 80's early 90's was industrial rock, but even then, Trent Reznor is a musical Genius.

I don't doubt his talent, hell, even Slipknot probably have talent. It's just a bit childish running about with goats skulls, screaming and dressing in black.

Slipknot only had the goats skull in one gig, and i think it was pink floyd who origonally hid their appearance, because they wanted to see if it made a difference to their live gigs.

I've always hated slipknot. I used to be quite into that kinda music, Coheed and cambria, Faith No More, Paramore etc... but I just felt it was the sort of stuff 15 years olds listened to at school.

When you go out, no one plays that kind of music, electro and indy is where it's at

See, the places where i usually go out, are pubs where they either have live bands, which cover some old ska/rock numbers, or pubs where you can relax in comfy chairs and talk, I hate electro.. and I find most indie boring, nothing to it.

And before you say im emo/Gay, I dont always listen to that kind of music.

Electro is another thing I most definatly dislike, if you want I can build a time machine and send you all back to the 80s.

I will agree on the slipknot bit, although iv never listened to stuff like that i always thought it was a bit ****.

The floyd and prog rock in general is where its at. Rush, cant beat a bit o rush.

On the subject of pink floyd, anyone tried watching Pink floyd The Wall?
I tried, the music was great, but i just couldnt stay with the feeble attempt at a story line.
