Mac fans don't like it when I refer to Apple as '₳₱₱£€' for some odd reason....Maybe it's the substitution of currency symbols instead of letters to imply that Apple is greedy that they don't like. Who knows?

Yeah true. I think (IM NO GUN EXPERT) it has to do with the caliber of the bullet right? 50 cal. is armor piercing compared to a minigun which has a smaller bullet? amirite?

I'm pretty sure a minigun can be made to fire any size round. However, most miniguns would fire a smaller size round, making them more suitable to anti-infantry roles rather than anti-material or anti-vehicle. So, I'm guessing they were going after troops moreso than their transportation.

Im not sure if it can be rechambered, but if you want a bigger punch you would go for its bigger cousin, the M61 vulcan (would need a plane or an APC, like the M113 it was once fitted on). The minigun fires 7.62x51 and they did make a 5.56 version called the microgun. Someone needs to research if the minigun can be rechambered. I would but I dont want to keep risking being that much of a military enthusiest nerd, im bad enough as it is.
