Cigars are pointless.

You're pointless. Cigars are pretty cool and very classy. I smoke one on special occasions.

Classier are pipes (tobacco). Actually has good flavor and looks awesome when you're wearing a tuxedo and drinking some scotch.

Cigars are actually pretty awesome when in moderation.

Cigarettes suck, and its one of the most unattractive habits I've ever come across. Talk about killing it when the girl you're chatting with pulls out some for a smoke.

Cigarettes suck, and its one of the most unattractive habits I've ever come across. Talk about killing it when the girl you're chatting with pulls out some for a smoke.

Pretty much. I've tried a cigarette once and it was absolutely foul. I love smoking my pipe after gigs and performances. Good way to relax and reflect. All in moderation though. So far I've managed to stay away from becoming addicted to nicotine. :p

You don't inhale cigars, so you're very, very unlikely to get addicted to cigars.

You don't inhale them, so you get less nicotine intake, but you still absorb it through your mouth. Much lower chance of cancer too.

uh what? You do not need to inhale tobacco to get addicted even when it's smoke. You can easily get addicted to cigars without ever lighting one up. You shouldn't inhale pipe tobacco either.

Jake pretty much beat me to it.

I smoked Newports and KOOLS mainly for about 3 years then I switched to reds for about 2 years. During this time I smoked cigars often and pipe tobacco occasionally. I quit cold turkey without a problem so I think a lot of it has to do with the person.

Actually it was at least 8 years I think I started in 9th grade. But I didn't start smoking every single day for about 2 years. The last year I dipped snuff and smoke reds. I quit the reds first dipped for another few weeks and quit cold turkey.

It would have been much harder to quit the menthol cold turkey though.
