Will my system run BF2?

hi, I'm planning on buying BF2, but I dont know if I can run it.

computer specs:

-Hewlett-Packard Pavilon AMD Athlon 3200+ (2.19 GHz)
-512MB PC2700 DDR SDRAM memory (thats what it says on the case sticker (when I open the computer properties it says that I have 448MB of RAM))
-160GB 7200RPM DMA hard drive
-Integrated NVIDIA GeForce4 MX Graphics with 64MB Allocated to video memory

I havent Installed a graphics card or a video card yet, so the computer is completely stock.

Please help!

No, your graphics card can't run the game. It would also be good to have 1 gig of ram.

Make sure your HP has a PCI Express port.

You will want to get at least 512MB more ram. Preferrably 2GB.

As to install, it's not a suggestion I make to anyone who 'asks' how to do it. Find someone who has done it or you can damage the equipment or peripherals. Computer components can be quite unforgiving to the new and unitiated.

yeah, what type of video slot do u have? pci-express, agp, or pci?

and a 7600gt would prob b a really good since its not that expensive and pretty fast.

I can looks at his system specs and tell you that it is more than likely PCI or AGP.

If he has a Geforce 4 he will have either an AGP or a PCI slot.

take the side panel off the side of your pc again, read off all the clear codes you see on your motherboard. should be able to google with those codes and find which motherboard you have and track down the manual.

also good to know what model power supply you have (the square box at rear top with the fan in it) to know what graphics cards you can power

If you want an inexpensive video card that will run BF2 medium to high settings, get my card, a 128 mb 6600GT card. This thing is 100 bucks and runs bf2 medium (with 2xAA and dynamic shadows) and FEAR high and 4xAA

Its a freaking beast for little money

That test does not the best at showing you if you can play or not. All it does is comapre your specs to the requirements on the box.
