How will bf2 run with these specs?

CPU:LGA775 Pentium 4 3.06 GHZ
Mobo: MSI PM8M3 AGP
Graphics: AGP ATI Sapphire x1600 PRO 256 MB
Sound:On Board
Network:Probably 54mbps Wireless, may go wired
PSU:430 Watt
Forgot RAM :laugh:
RAM:1 GB Kingston DDR400 (will probably upgrade to 2 gigs if this x1600 is a good enough video card to play w/o lag)

you should be fine maybe medium some high? not sure of thwe graphics thoug....memory and cpu is just fine though......

not bad, you can play on everything on high, I haerd that your gfx card is equivalent to my x800xl, and I play everything on High with 40-80fps 1280x1024 6xAA
You should be fine, not sure if it makes a diff it is onbaord or not.

so your sure my x1600 will run just fine? on bf2

Yeah it will, not as high as x800 as someone suggested but it will play it fine.

I don't think its 8 years old, but also, I really doubt all high at 1280x1024, more like all medium, and a few high, with 35+fps.

You ALWAYS have lag because you are running an 8 year old CPU.

reread his first post, he won't always have the 8 yr old CPU. It looks like he is upgrading to a 3.06 Ghz P4.

Thats almost like mine. I have a P4 3.06 GHZ. 512 RAM (not sure which type).
I have a x1650 PRO.
It runs fine with Medium-low

X1600 card will run fine on everything medium with a good 40 FPS.

It's not 8 years old, I was exaggerating a bit, but seriously now, 5 years is still horrid. It's not like a car, where you can happily drive a 40 year old version just as well as a modern one, even 2 year old CPUs will struggle to the limit with today's games, in fact, P4s will struggle with CS 1.6 nowadays (well, not struggle, but hardly anywhere near decent performance with good settings), compared to the merry old days when it would run perfectly fine on a Pentium 150MHz without MMX.
