u prob should upgrade the ram. apparently according to abunch of people, ram is wat is keeping me from running all high nicely with my computer

My AMD FX53 doesnt struggle with Fear at all. ALL Max'd Average 77 FPS! with only 11% below 40 :)

The RAM upgrade is kind of like an obvious upgrade..
when a map is loading on bf2 it loads everything very fast but then loading client data takes like 3-6 minutes! What should i do to stop this?

It's not 8 years old, I was exaggerating a bit, but seriously now, 5 years is still horrid. It's not like a car, where you can happily drive a 40 year old version just as well as a modern one, even 2 year old CPUs will struggle to the limit with today's games, in fact, P4s will struggle with CS 1.6 nowadays (well, not struggle, but hardly anywhere near decent performance with good settings), compared to the merry old days when it would run perfectly fine on a Pentium 150MHz without MMX.
