iv noticed this really odd smell coming for my psu, and i noticed this white goo on a capacitor. it smells like burnign plastic, anyone know what it is?

well if the goo looks like it shouldnt be there, maybe one of the caps is failing. if your smelling burning, I would just replace the psu.
also be careful handling the psu, capacitor's store electrical power and even with the psu unplugged you can easily get shocked. large capacitor's can store enough charge to kill a person.
