X850XT or XTPE dont OC at all pretty much. I think the 7600GT is a better choice.

The GS has 12 Texture units PRO as 4
GS has 8 Raster Operators PRO has 4
GS has 12.8GB/s MEM bandwidth PRO has 12.4 not a big deal but good info.
GS 4800 shader ops per sec PRO 6000

and on and on and on. They are both pretty well match so, is up to you, almost the same card.

Just switched from VGA to DVI, and it is running CRAPPY. Not even the game just windows. Constant redraw when dragging a window, opens menus in "steps", not smooth at all. I think I'm going to nix the Omega driver and go back to stock to see if that's the problem.

yup sounds like a driver issue. Also make sure that your monitor frequencies match the display settings ones.

Looks like it was the SmartGart or something, but it works now with the Omega drivers. Man that was annoying. I need to get my new memory in now.

well now that AMD owns ATI, you go to the AMD website and the ATi website (it will just pass you to the amd site) and dl the latest drivers or buy the new 7600GS, thats what im buying and it is super fast dispite what everyone else says. (i will be runnin it in SLI mode tho)
