I've installed the 64bit vertion, I had some problems running on high settings so at this point I'm running on medium settings until I upgrade my memory, I've got the windows page file on a seperate hard drive than the OS to improve performance. Also the textures are a little well, the picture below should explain. I'm upgrading my drivers to see if I can fix this problem it might be an isolated problem with the drivers I installed from nVidia.

Basic specs: AMD 3800 X2, GeIL 3200 2x 512mb Ram, MB Asus a8n32, nVidia 7600GT Leadtek 256mb.

I have the same problem. I have a Dell 4700 w/2.5gb ram, 7800 gtx (256mb).

Installed both the RC1 and the 96.33 driver. It was decent in Beta 2, but it had memory leaks which CTD every 2-3 hours.

Now, the trees and grass are all messed up. Also DOD:S wont work neither.

On the plus side, the game is much smoother in RC1 and loads much faster.

Any solutions?

just getting around to installing all the games again..

had RC1 screw up and had to reinstall..

also if you run BF2 in the XP compatability mode, does that help with the graphics corruption?

Nope, I've been running it in XP SP2 mode.

After a while, its not such a big deal, as long as its an urban map.

My sniping ability has degraded as I cant see past the foliage now.........

If nothing else, I'll just lay off BF2 for a while, might not be a bad thing afterall.
