We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
I suppose i'm lucky my aunt and uncle own all the Subway's in my area. I just upgraded from a month old EVGA 7600GT to a EVGA 7900GT. But, if you want a good for performance card that is cheap just save up for a 7600GT.
I've got an AGP X850 XT PE x and can play everything on high settings, (plus AA) @ 1280 x 1024 in BF2 so if you find any card that benchmarks similar to my card you won't be sorry.
The only thing is that some of these cards do poorly if you have ony 1 GB of RAM and play BF2, (only seems to happen with BF2). You only need to add an extra 512 MB, (and you don't even have to be running it at DDR400 speeds), but just a word of warning.
I still don't get why you're not going with Ebay. Much better cards there with better prices.
Mostly because I trust Neweggs shipping (and shipping prices, some ebay ship prices are unbelieveable) and return policy. Also most of the video cards I find on ebay are all PCI - E...
And from another similar thread in response to someone about to get a 7600gs:

edit: as far as the 3DMark05 scores go, the x800gto is generally ahead by 600 points. Yes, performance is not necessarily linked to the 3DMark05 score, but apparently the x800gto can overclock very well, getting that score up to 5800, 1200 more points than the 7600gs. When overclocked, the 7600gs was only to move its score to the x800gto's stock speed score, about 4600.
And from another similar thread in response to someone about to get a 7600gs:
Ordered x800gto and will continue to stick with ATI. I wanna run over to the damn wherehouse and just pick it up but they will not let me; even though it will come the next day.
Okay then. I guess the x800gto would be my best and cheapest bet for now. I mean, im only running 1024x768, and I want to run on some decent looking settings with at least 2x aa.
Bump this thread cause I had problesm at the beginning with my card and constant CTD. I uninstalled all my video card drivers, than all my Motherboard drivers and ran Driver Cleaner to cleanup the rest in safe mode(f8).
Ran Driver Cleaner before doing install. Installed MB drivers than video drivers/DX9; installed game/patches than updated with Punkbuster Updater.

Ebay is what I'm going for for sure. I notice a few trends in the computers that pop up (when I search "gaming pc"). What's better for Bf2, 2x 7600 GS in SLI mode, or 1 7900GT?

If they are the same price, definitely a single 7900GT. That way you can run the latest games right now but also use SLI technology in the future for that extra boost.
