Oh, ok. Well, I'll have to wait for my R/c truck to sell on Ebay and then I should have around 200 to spend on memory and a video card. This is gonna be a hard decision lol.

If so, you may need to make sure your mobo will accept 240pin ddr2.

I have a nividio 6200 and it is very good. It runs very smoothly but can only take mediam setting roughly except texture, effect and this other one which is high.

the x850xt i linked to is much better than the x800gto, for only a little more money. it was the absolute best card on the market what...a year ago? 18 months?

and the memory you linked to--make sure you've got at least 3 ram slots. alot of budget pc's only use motherboards with two slots, and that compusa memory you linked to is a 1gb KIT...meaning it's two 512mb sticks.

Yea, I've only got 2. And with the kit, I was just pointing out what a good price it was. I'm going to have to decide between the 850 xt and the 800 gto. I dont need like a really good card, just one that will actually run Bf2 and run it on medium settings.

hmmm thats not too bad , just a little expensive for me


Edit- I just tried to install Bf2 on my stock graphics card and it worked lol. It can barely play the game on all low and lowest resolution lol. I definently need a new card.
