Alas, it WILL give a huge increase in graphical eye candy. Look up Crysis on IGN/GameSpot/1UP/etc.

Yes Crysis will look nice. However its important to know that all the amazing feats acheived by the Crysis engine are acheived under Directx 9. All gameplay videos available are of the game using directx9 cards.
