Yeah that would be good if you can get it cheap. The biggest piece of advice I could give you is just stay away from OEM soundblasters as some times it can be really hard to get drivers for them. But that wont concren you if you get the AUDIGY 2.

As with all games using 3D positional sound, Battlefield 2 benefits from super-accurate sound placement, stunning audio quality, and powerful audio acceleration when you have a Sound Blaster X-Fi in your system. But the Digital Illusions team wanted to add some extra audio value just for Sound Blaster users.
