Dude a joystick is better, because u will never have to lift it off, and lose momentum, no matter which mouse it is. period

i have the LOgitech Attack 3, for €25 and it freaking owns in the air.

Looks like your thread got kinda hijacked man. Iwould tell you if I had tried, but both of my 360 controllers are wireless, so they don't work on my PC. Once they release the wireless usb dongle for the PC's then I will try it out.
Anyways try it out if you have a wired 360 controller. Tell us how it turns out.

I fly with xbox 360 controller!

          Aviator 36:16:03 K 2,375 D 660 R 3.9152 RK 209

I think its good for the few time i flew, knowing i had like 5-10 hours of mastering it with lots of crashes.

Now i can fly perfectly with it, dogfighting, accurate bombing and landing any plane 95% of time, my best round was 120 10 55 1 on wake without baseraping ,lmao the only death was a tk for plane...

I guess you could do it with a xbox controller.

I have problems using the ps2 controller. the buttons bind perfectly, and controller is perfectly stable.

but the problem is controlling 3 axis with only 2 joysticks. its hard.

joystick also has the throttle feature, very nice.

Re: bf2 and xbox 360 controller

it is possible, but like stated someone said, its alot harder becasue you can use all 3 of the axis at once.

oh and a mouse aint bad. a joystick is good and i use them whenever i fly, both methods are just alternatives for people and what they like. i am sure there are many expert pilots who can shread people to peices with a mouse
