well i just got my 7600GT OC today and it dose work with my computer
I love the way everything look and there's so mutch diffrent at karkand its amazing. Thank you for all the help guys.

Edit: I can also play everything on high settings and 4x AA, but on some maps it lags a little so I think i have to turn the AA down to 2x? And i cant get used to the fan "my old card had no fan"

O and TokenBrit if you are refering to the card from the link i know its really bad thats the car i had befor i got the 7600GT OC

you shouldnt be getting any lag at all with that card with all settings maxed at 1280x1024 you psu is bottlenecking it get a new one

I always thought a lacking PSU would lead to unstability and crashes, not reduced performance, but I could be wrong... Anyway, I think everyone gets a little bit of lag every once in a while with BF2, so I wouldn't be too worried about it. Unless it's more than a little and it really bothers you.

yes but what i am saying is that you should not be getting the lag if this carries on then the card could get damaged

I am 100% certain that if an NVidia card is being significantly underpowered, then forceware knows and will tell you with many tiny irritating popups.

Actually, it'll refuse to boot into windows if it's not getting enough power.

Probably different levels of "not enough power" I have seen one running with enough juice to do a windows desktop, but switching to 3d mode made it quite disagreeable :p .

True, it won't boot if it's not getting any external power at all.

WTF? Am I missing something? He has AGP... I can't find anything out about his motherboard, because it doesn't list it, the bridge type, or I'm blind . I'd say a 6600gt .

I could not find a single thing on my mobo either.

Ever since i turnd the AA down to 2x I have no problems and the lag wasnt really bad and it only lagead on levels like Gulf Of Oman.
