Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.

Plus, when you have crap graphics, you really enjoy the game at first....Then when you finally upgrade your card and switch to the highest detail, it's like a whole new game and you have even more fun!
I wish, in order to upgrade my graphics card Id have to get a whole new motherboard
Re: Can you run BF2 with an NVIDIA GeForce Ti 4200?
I have the required files. I cannot take credit for creating them. I only found them. Credit to whoever wrote the program. I have uploaded them to Rapidshare. The link is
Basically, unzip into a new folder, keeping the directory structure in the zip. Make a shortcut to the file TatniumD3D.exe. Run this file and click OK. Then run BF2. It should now run with a Ti 4200 or a Ti 4600 video card.

Raven is right
Heck, I jumped from an x800xl at medium settings to an x1900xt at all high and the game looks even more amazing. Plus playing at 80+ fps gives my old reflexes a bit of an advantage.
Re: Can you run BF2 with an NVIDIA GeForce Ti 4200?
I started playing the game with my old PCI-only system, on a GeForce 5200 PCI 128MB. It was actually quite playable at low detail and 800x600 resolution.
Then I upgraded to an AGP board and a 6600GT, and finally a 7800GS, cranking up the detail with every new card. At high resolution and high detail, it really looks like a completely different game...but I enjoyed the early days just the same.
Re: Can you run BF2 with an NVIDIA GeForce Ti 4200?
Thanks for all the info guys. But if the Ti is able to run it, then why does it crash to desktop?
System Specs:
2.4 P4
512 RAM
The Ti 4200
Big HDD
I don't really see a problem. It all passes if the Ti works.
Could you give me a link to those programs you were talking about? The ones that make your system think it's running on 1.3 pixel shaders? Thanks.

My other computer has a x1800xl, and I can run BF2 fine. Apsolutely spiffing. But, that's my American computer, I'm in the UK for the summer. My UK computer surprisingly isn't that bad for a 2-year-old computer. It runs Garry's mod, CS:S and all that really fine (Full graphics) at about a 24fps av.
It's weird.

Much appreciated, thanks.
Your card requires shaders 1.4 to run BF2 natively. You are limited to 1.3, nvidia cut corners about 3 years ago, and BF2 is the only mainstream game that has ever come out that requires 1.4 shaders, meaing a Radeon 8500 or Nvidia FX or up.
The only way you're going to run the game is with those hacked/modified files, goodluck to you.
