ive had mine for 1.5 weeks now and i play on 1280x1024@ 75Hz and i get 30-45 fps but im bringing that back down to 1152x864 as i get 60-70fps but im not sure,why its getting that low but i got a more trusted video card brand in evga.

ohh by the way i have no aa or af on as it twitches my screen so try it with no aa

I can't live w/o AA. With no AA on it is really hard to see at 1024x768.....

well you could use more ram although that cant be the biggest fps problem it should make it smoother and take stress of. ohh and try turning efects down to medium. medium to high in effects isnt worth it and terrain isnt worth it unless you have 1.5GB- 2GB if you want it to run well

High textures in bf2 need at least 1.5 gigs of ram, 2 really.

not true. I have 1 gig of ram and a 7600GT and i have textures on high as well as: Terrain, Geometry, and Effects. I have shadows,lighting etc. on meduim. No AA. And the resolution on 1280x1024

you dont need 1 gig to have textures on high. I play those sets on a 64 man server.

ok i have a pny 7600gt and i get maxed settings on 1280x1024 with 60 fps

my system specs are

amd athlon 3800+ x2 dual core processor
ecs kn1 sli motherboard
4 x pny 512mb
80gb hd (10000rpm)
250gb hd (7200rpm)
pny geforce (7600gt)
hiper award winning 580w psu

i got my 7600gt from pcworld (stupid mistake £150) so i guess that u should get the hiper 580w psu its pretty good (£60) and you will be fine go and get it from www.pcworld.co.uk here is a screenshot of what my game looks like

Hey I also have a evga 7600 GT CO too, I have to play on ALL SETTINGS LOW!!!!!!>.<!!!!! if i put on medium higher, it lags so much...

is it because i have only 512 mb of ram pc 3200....????
but im getting another PC3200 Kingston Dual Channel(whats difference between dual and single>>?) I also have a 500 WATT PSU.


CAN YOU GET 2 DIFF. COMPANIES OF RAM WITH SAME PC3200 AND PUT IT ON YOUR RAM SLOTS AT THE SAME TIME?, example, like right now i have stock RAM>>which is Hynix PC3200 256 mb>2 but im about to get 2x512mb PC3200 Kingston ram, is it possible to put them on together????

ps. the kingston ram is prolly dual channel.

you also don't run AA. Most people like to run both AA and high textures. You prolly also don't run AS as well.

i paid £524

for it all,got it all runing now got 2gig kingmax ddr400 in here as well.it runs the same as my x800 pro before it died:cry:
prob gonna sell this card and go back 2 ati 1800 xt

do u want a second card?

p.s got that power supply as well..
