thats 300$, but garenteed high settings, and can also play a bunch of other games very well. the 6800xt SHOULD do it, and can also be "unlocked" to a 6800gt (sorta).

BTW i used all nvidia cards, ill look for some good ATi ones too

thanks alot bro so all i would have to do is buy them and put them in my tower and the install them or whatever but they will work in my pc models hopefully lol, is it worth upgradding or should i buy a new pc cause i can get a new pc for 499 and this is gonna cost about 450 if i upgrade!

well it depends, what new PC you get, and whats in it. I doubt you can get a new PC with these parts, plus other ones for 500$. a good new computer with 2GB ram, the 6800xt and a better CPU is bound to cost more than 500$.

but yes, buy the parts, turn off computer, take out old ram and insert new ram (make sure its in all the way). take out old GFX card, put in new one. uninstall old drivers, restart, install new drivers and you should be good.

drivercleaner.net, once you uninstall the old drivers u can use that. its not TOO hard but PM me or something if you need more info.

thats true my 128mb radeon 9250 would just load the game i couldnt even play there was so much lag

yo sackynut the first video card tht u posted for 149 is now in stock(YAY) im am going to be pruchasing it soon and then I will have to find the game somewhere, ill do the no payment for 90 thing so i can work for the money over the summer while havig to spend on toher things you know lol thanks alot pzzzz

ok well I got the game and I got all the stuff I need, I got 1 gig thingy cause I found out my pc can only go up to 1 gig, and i got a nVIDIA GeFORCE AGP 256MB DDR 6200OC Overclocked with some free NO Cd/dvd rom thingy where it saves my game data where i dont need the **** to play and it has life time warrenty so I will be playing by 2morrow. So should i stick with patch 1.2 and not 1.3? thanks again guys pzz

how come you didnt get the 6800xt? the nvidia 6200 (the one you said you just purchased) is horrible for battlefield....

im going back to best buy is about 20 min to install it all for me from a few firends there, Ill ask if maybe they can give me the 6800xt istead cause i never opened anything yet thanks

yeah man, ask for a 7600gt (if you can afford it) or a 6800xt, or even just a regular 6800 if they dont have the XT. the 6200 is HORRIBLE for bf2 and is just a bad card.

well I ened up getting stuck with the 6200 and so far iv been playing smoothly with no problems on medium settings whice look amazing, but when trying to set up a account for multyplay its just saying a bunch of bull crap like that email/password is already in use, then it says same thing and then says uni nuckname is already in use damm Im been trying to get a ccount for like 40 min now

screw that i got it working but it says i have an older version??? whice version should i dl?

nvm man im learning the ways of bf2, now i just gotta update my game to 1.2 not 1.3 right cause thats bad? well when i get 1.2 ill leanr to play well i already played some mp and i did well for a bigginner lol thanks for all your help pzzzz

GEt the new patch, your patch hasn't been upgraded by the looks of it, get the 1.3 patch, the full 1.3 patch is your best bet. Virtually everyone has and uses the 1.3 patch. If you want to play with them , get it.

well iv been p[laying 1.2 and im keep with it for a lil bit cause its fun, I have a few noob question for you guys since I started playing,
1.Can I talk to people through my Mic?
2.How far can u shoot someone from with a sniper rifle that it will cause themt o die, and should u lead when sniping?
3. when commander or squad leader how do you give orders and look at the commander map?
4.Is the SF pack and Armourd Fury woh it aswell? lol thanks once again pzzzz

1 defualt button is B
2. headshots are instant kills from about 200M away
3.SF and AF are great packs EF is trash.

thanks, are the unlockable sniper rifles more powerfull at further ranges and how do u know when ur about 200m away from a enemy, educated guess? lol

If you didn't open it, there is nothing they can say for 14 days at Best Buy. You need to DEMAND your money back now that they have apparently lied to you.

If you are being truthful about not opening it, and now had to because they wouldn't return it...the manager and a parent will indeed get your money back in full.

Take that money and apply it to a card from NewEgg for HALF THE PRICE OF WORST BUY!
