Best gaming mouse

i have a standered dell laser mouse. But i wish i could have some other buttons. For TS and VOIP as well as changing the modes on the weapons. Can someone recommend a cheap but good gaming mouse. Thanks

I perfer the Mx510/518 they are good for gaming and have two side buttons for browsing websites and are good for binding TS/Vent keys and when you fly you can switch views easier.

If you want cordless, which I wouldn't advice. The second best is the MX1000 the best is it's follow up the G7.

If you want a cord on it, which is slightly better still. You can take a MX518 as second best or it's follow up the G5.

The G5 is currently the best mouse for right handed gamers without a doubt, though if you are left handed you might have to look into a Razor mouse.

cordless are pretty cool, but I prefer corded mice, IMO. The cordless mice I have all require 2 AA batteries, which can eat up some $ after a while. You can try rechargeable, but every rechargable battery I have tried doesn't seem to store the same amount of power after you reacharge them.

Lol the 518 has more dpi then the MX1000 you need to read the stats before you get the mouse which has a fancy box

Ive got a G5. Laser all the way!! a nnoyance to me is that red light that shines every time i pick up aan optical miouse. My laser is pretty much invsible!!(you have to put your eye up to the hole to see the little red dot. BTW Dont forget about Best gaming Keyboards!!! Ive got a Logitech G15 paired up with my G5. Damn, they look and perform good!!!

how much dpi does the Mx1000 have anyway? laser always has more than optical... ive got 2000dpi so im happy:) Who uses thosee high of settings anyway?? its so freakin twitchy

The G7 doesn't use AA's it has two battery packs and the wirless adapter is connected to the charger. It's real quick and easy to switch batteries. When you use one, the other can be charged. Although you'll be switching the batteries like every other day. I'd definately recommend it. As soon as I got it I noticed an improvement in my sniping when I played bf2.

Uh huh, whatever you say. You still have an optical mouse, the mx1000 is laser,so even if your dpi is higher mine tracks way better. This is the best performing (and gaming) mouse I've ever used, and I've gone through so many wired gaming mice it's not even funny. It doesn't need batteries, lasts 1 week of 8 hour-a-day use, and fully recharges in 90 min. So next time do a little reading before you talk ****.
