PCI graphics cards and Battlefield 2

I need to know if there is a better Graphics card for PCI then this

BFG Technologies 5500 OC 256 mb PCI

I just need a graphics card that will run Battlefield 2 smoothly even if it is on low.

I have a AGP slot but most AGP cards require more then my power supply.

    I have a

Gateway E-3600 (more info about AGP slot if you type it in on a search. Bring up the Adobe reader manual)
    200 watt power supply

Well a 5500 isn't going to run the game, it's not compatible. Your best bet would be something like these:
We’re sorry, but this page does not existing. Please visit our home page for more information.

But PCI only has 133mb/s throughput so it's going to be a rough gaming experience even if you do get them. You have an AGP slot, I would suggest you use it. Get a new PSU, they really aren't that expensive and are fairly easy to install. If you get a cheap PSU you can get a cheap AGP card (like a 9600-9800 or 6600) and will be much better off.

yea, my old 5200U would be better than that 5500 just because it's AGP.

NO PCI graphics will be able to run BF2.

You could get a decent 300-350 watt PSU for like 50 bucks. That will power most of the older AGP cards and those will rip any PCI cards a new one.

Wow, you would be wasting your money buying a PCI card if you have a AGP slot.

Just get this one, it's good, it's cheap, and it should handle midrange cards.

I just bought a new cpu and now im looking for a graphics card soly to play Battlefield 2 on High setting. I have a PCI Slot. My main reason for one is Battlefield 2. I do not want to go over $300. Will this card that is shown at the link run Battlefield 2 on HIGH settings.

And if that cant will this run battlefield 2 on HIGH settings

Please take a lil bit of time and look at them to tell me which one is better

You said you ahve a PCI slot, did you mean PCI-E? If you don't have PCI-E neither of those cards will work. If you do the then the 7600GT will get you the closest to high. However you'd be better off buying online, rather than at BestBuy. For the cost of a 7600GT at BestBuy you can get a 7900GT from newegg.

              Here's a good 7600GT for almost $100 cheaper.

Yes, it's the same GPU and the second card you listed.

However if you have $300 to spend I'd go with a 7900gt.

I would rather go with the evga but like jimmy has said, xfx is good too. I disagree on the cheapo psu he recommended though, I would go with something like this:

PSU's are not something you want to skimp on and going with a 7800 and above GPU I would go with at least 500watts. Going with more wattage also allows you to expand or go sli if wanted, the better the psu the "cleaner" the power and less chance of breakdowns.

they both look the same to me, as in core clock, memory seed.

What cheap-o PSU did I reccomend? FSP is a great company that makes quality PSUs.
