now, I don't know when this will all take place. In theory (again), all Nvidia has to do is release the driver to make it work. If you graphics cards are supported, then you pretty much already have a physx card.

I get almost a 50% improvement in 3DMark 05 in SLI. It also allows me to play HL2 in 1920X1200 at highest settings with extremely playable FPS. I get great FPS in BF2 and SF at 1600X1200 too. The only game which has given me any trouble is FEAR.

Is it really worth the buck? Depends on your point of view. I was trying to build the best box I could on a given day without regard to cost. It was about fulfilling a desire, not about being totally rational. So for me it was worth it. If I were doing a real cost-benefit analyis then the answer would likely be no.

Looks more like JavaScript (or ECMAScript if you prefer).

You never bothered to call your SLI function. Better cut that epenis in half.

That is still true as far as I know. I have to go out of SLI mode to run my second monitor, which I only do when working.

I can too with my pair of 7800's. I would likely have bought a single 7900 if they had been available when I built my rig, but they day I ordered the parts was the day 7800's first shipped. On that day a pair of 7800's was the best you could buy. Today that isn't true anymore. Can't always wait for the next great thing or you'll never build a rig.
