    Just because its an opty does not mean it's dual core. Keep the premium, it's only 11 more bucks, other than that your machine looks okay.

          Only the opterons that go up in increments of 5 are dual core. 165, 170, 175 etc... The single core go up in increments of 2, 140, 142, 144, 146 etc....



          @ at OP. I have to disagree with the majoirty of people here. A better video card will help you both long term and short term with games, where as a dual core is not going to do much in the short term, and hell does anyone know when dual core optimized games will really hit the market.

          You can upgrade both the video and CPU later, but we do know the video card will be used NOW, where as the dual core CPU for the most part will not.
