Need help picking graphics card

Which one should i pick? I'm not very good at this kinda stuff so some help from people who ae would be very nice. But please don't say that i should pick the graphics card that you have yourself just because you like it so much? I want the best no less than that...

7900 might be a little overkill. B ut if you got the money, go for the 7900

7900 if you want the VERY BEST without concern for money.

The 7900GT coasts the same as the 7800GT, but has about the preformance of a 7800GTX...go for the 7900GT.

Or if you don't have the cash, skip the 6 series altogether and just get a 7600GT. The 7600GT will out prefrom just about any 6 series card for about the same if not less then a top 6 series card (6 series is the 6200, 6600, 6800).

I just sold my 6800GT (Med-High settings in BF2 with 2GB Ram) and bought a 7600GT (High-Ultra High settings in BF2 with 2GB Ram) for the resale price of my old card. Well worth it. 7600GT even draws less power out of my system then the 6800GT did and dosn't require additional connectors.

Sh*t! you can only buy the 7900GTX dual from dell and thats where i'm buying the computer so... I'm not coughing up 10,000SEK (£714,$1250) for a dual one... lol! Maybe the second best will have to do... Why cant you buy them single?

if you can help it... build the computer yourself. It'll be cheaper and the experience of putting something together yourself is great.

If Dell is the only way to go.... go with another model.

Radeon X1900 XTX - fastest card on the planet currently, but runs about $620

The 7800gtx is a great card but whatever you buy now will be old hat in 6 months time when windows vista comes out which will incorporate direct x10 , which will require the next gneration direct x 10 graphics cards
