I have had a coouple of XFX cards, and they were ok, no hassles with them. I have never owned an EVGA so can't comment. I think if you get any you'll be doin ok.

I think I might go with eVGA due to the more reviews they had. This is so damn exciting! I can't imagine what it's going to be like to play BF2 completely maxed out on everything!!

For future reference... when I have the $,$$$ to get a standalone high-spec gaming PC.... what do ya'll perfer between these three companies: Dell XPS, Alienware, Voodoo PC

You should go for a home built, save yourself a fortune. All it takes is a "little" knowhow. And you get what you want.

Yea there sure is, but it shows us where the GPU's will be going, and i can't weait till the dx10 cards come out.. :p

oh! Wanted to ask... when I get this Card and get in my PC... is there anything I need to configure before going into BF2 and maxing everything out in there?

nope, well you may need to uninstall the video drivers first then reinstall once you have put the card in.

You'll be amazed mate check specs in sig, im running monitor at the max ingame res without editing files on all high 4xAA, no lag at all barely drops below 50fps, have fun with it

Those video cards are not meant for gaming! I know a guy who does a lot of 3d modelling & such, his pc has 2 gigs of ram, fx-57 proc, and an nVidia quadro fx 4****, We installed HL2 on it and it got less than 20 FPS most of the time. :|:
