    Re: Mushkin memory.

There are quite a few PC4000 1Gb IC's that will do 260-270 fsb. The Samsung UCCC, Micron -5b F, and Infineon CE-6. All of them will do decent speeds, but the timings are what are different here. You can tell them apart by there rated timings at PC4000.

    Micron: 3-3-3-x
    Infineon: 3-3-2-x
    Samsung: 3-4-3-8/3-4-4-8

Samsung will reach the highest FSB with 3D stability, is the cheapest, but has loose timings. The samsung is reaching anywhere from 270-300mhz 3D stable. The other two are about equal in their overclock but they only reach (260-270 3D stable). The Infineon are the fastest IC's so at 250mhz (3-3-2-8) is about equal to the Samsung at 270mhz (3-4-3-8).

I like the Infineon IC's, but thats just my preference.

      Re: Mushkin memory.

I rate Mushkin as above average, but as already stated, there are better brands.

I have 2GB of OCZ platinum right now and am very happy with it.

Corsiar isn't any better than any of the other high end ram companies. If anything they are overpriced for mediocre overclocking performance.
