Game Informer March Cover - The Outer Worlds

The March issue of Game Informer is all about The Outer Worlds. As you will hopefully recall, The Outer Worlds is a new game from the original Fallout devs at Obsidian Entertainment and it was first revealed last year at The Game Awards.

Expect to see a lot of fresh information and hopefully some new gameplay footage as the month goes on. Some of the first details to be revealed is the fact that the game will have a physical retail release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Its price will be the expected $60 at release. ...

First Trailer for Chernobylite - New Sci-Fi Horror from The Farm 51

The Farm 51, developer on the recently released into Early Access title, World War 3, just announced a new sci-fi horror title. It's called Chernobylite and it is an upcoming sci-fi survival-horror title that centers around the Chernobyl disaster.

Chernobylite doesn't have a release date just yet, nor are we even sure what platforms it'll be released on. I'm guessing it will appear on PC, but the digital retailer is pretty much anybody's guess at this point. You can check out the official Chernobylite website for yourself, but it's in Polish and really doesn't have any additional...

Obsidian Announces The Outer Worlds - Think Sci-Fi Fallout in Space

Think back to the last great Fallout game and chances are you're thinking of Fallout: New Vegas. That game was developed by Obsidian Entertainment. Now imagine Obsidian took all of that great stuff, had the financial backing of Microsoft behind them, and created an entirely original game with a healthy smattering of new gameplay ideas. You would probably have The Outer Worlds, the latest game to be revealed by Obsidian Entertainment.

They also just happen to be the original studio behind Fallout. Huh, fancy that!

The development studio announced their new title tonight at The Game Awards and hot damn am I ever excited for it.

The game already has a page up on Stea...

This is Your First Look at The Surge 2 Gameplay

Some good news today for those wanting a piping hot injection of all new gameplay footage for The Surge 2. Focus Home Interactive and Deck 13 provide the first look at what they're calling "pre-alpha" gameplay for the sci-fi action RPG.

It's not particularly long, but it's something. The trailer shows off the Park sector, which is located in the middle of a city that has been "ravaged by the events of The Surge."
Devious mercenaries called The Hunters roam the artificial, man-made forest, searching for a powerful creature. Beware their traps, their cunning cloaking devices, and most of all, the out-of-control former park guar

    Review: The Station (PC)

    Space walk with me.

From start to its somewhat expected finish, The Station had its hooks in me something fierce. Let it be known right now that I love a great story driven experience and The Station delivered in spades. Though a bit shorter than I would have liked, I was fully immersed for every single second of it. Let's not beat around the bush here: The Station is what some may call a "walking simulator" or even a "story-driven experience." Whatever you call it, I call it a fun and thoroughly enjoyable time. The story is delivered through a series of relatively short audio logs, floating holographic messages, and optional documents that all come together to build this world and story. All I will say about the plot is what you can pick up from the trailers and screenshots for the game. You are sent to a damaged space stat...

Former Driveclub and MotorStorm Devs Form New Studio, Working on New Sci-Fi IP

Wushu Studios is a new independent game development studio that is made up of former members of Evolution Studios, BioWare, PlayStation, and more. Evolution Studios, if you recall, is the studio that brought the world the well received MotorStorm games along with the great looking Driveclub racing game for the PlayStation 4.

While a bulk of Evolution ended up at Codemasters, a few decided to do their own thing. Thus, Wushu Studios was born. The first order of business for the studio seems to be creating a new sci-fi game. And no, it's not going to be a racing game.
Founded in August 2017, the team is helmed by veteran AAA developers behind the popular MotorStorm and Driveclub franchises, as well as fresh talent
