Last year, developers, GRIN set out to do something most developers would never dream of, and most gamers dream about: They attempted to update an old title, in this case the original Bionic Commando (NES, 1988). 2008’s Bionic Commando: Rearmed brought the title out its 2D/8-bit style into 3D. This project proved to be a smashing hit, selling well on both the Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network, not to mention receiving stellar reviews from press outlets.
During Rearmed’s development, GRIN worked closely with a team of Capcom employees who had worked on the original title. With such a successful collaboration, fans of Bionic Commando, both new and old, had a lot of hope for the newest entry in the series. Read more...
