Total Gaming Network is happy to introduce a new series today that will run on our website titled Music in Gaming. We have paired up with Artwerk, a dedicated music label for Electronic Arts, to bring our community closer to the bands that you can hear in EA titles.
Each month we will feature a new band on our site that has their music in all the latest EA games. Throughout the month the band is featured, we will stream exclusive tracks, offer free downloads when available, and conduct interviews with the bands. All of this is in an effort to connect the gamers to the bands and vice versa. So without further ado, we'd like to present our first featured band:
Pint Shot Riot
Influenced by the spiky rhythms and even spikier lyrics of The Clash, the working class rock ‘n’ roll attitude of Oasis and the melodies and harmonies of The Kinks. Pint Shot Riot’s songs talk not of despair but of hope, not of everyday mundane life but of dreams, not of isolation but of strength in union. It’s an ambition. A promise.
In November 2008 E.A. Games asked for a track for the new SIMS 3 game due for release in early 2009. It was decided to give them the first single ‘Punches Kicks Trenches And Swords’ as this hadn’t really had any international exposure.
