  • Race Pro Review

Our latest review here on Total Gaming Network has staff writer Eldri getting behind the wheel of SimBin's Race Pro. Here's the intro to the article:
Since 2005, Swedish game developer SimBin has developed over half a dozen racing titles for the PC. Race Pro, their console debut and Xbox 360 exclusive, combines various racing classes from previous SimBin racing titles, wrapping them into a pretty package courtesy of the Lizard Game Engine. Although the game shares much of its spirit with the rest of SimBin’s catalogue, Race Pro takes more of a slimmed down approach.

This raises the question, “How does Race Pro compare to prior SimBin creations and console counterparts including Forza Motorsport 2 and Project Gotham Racing 4?” For starters, Race Pro is not a typical console racer. It’s not a speed-junky racer like the Need for Speed series and it only vaguely similar to Forza or Gran Turismo, games that focus heavily on simulation and customization.

So, what is Race Pro? Read on to find out. Read more...

Had seen this and it did come across as a poor man's GT5/Forza. Though it seems to almost be in limbo between those two games and a more arcadey game.
