  • TGN Reviews Dracula Origin

Our very own Kieran Manzi recently had the chance to play through Frogwares and The Adventure Company's recently released game Dracula Origin. Here is the intro to the review:
Dracula Origin is a point and click adventure puzzle game from the creators of the popular Sherlock Holmes series, Frogwares.

Dracula Origin puts you in the shoes of Professor VanHelsing, who is out to put an end to Dracula and save a young woman in peril.

In the beginning of the game you start out in the house of a young woman named Mina, she tells you that she is saddened over the tragic death of her sister’s servant she hands you a newspaper article detailing what has happened. You later find more articles from other newspapers telling about other events in London that are very similar to the death of the servant. You use this information and a bit of logic in the games first puzzle to find the location of this killer.

A letter arrives for VanHelsing from a friend of his Harker. In the letter Harker tells that he has found Dracula and has tracked him down to his castle and will be putting an end to him. But Harker should have arrived back in London before the letter. This and the recent deaths in London lead VanHelsing to believe that Dracula may be in London. And then your adventure begins.
