Our very own ThQp recently had the chance to get a preview build of <a href="http://www.eipix.com/" target="_blank">EIPIX</a> and <a href="http://www.candellasoftware.com/index.html" target="_blank">Candella Software's</a> upcoming racer/shooter game Pyroblazer. Here's a portion of the article:

There is an old genre that has started to take great leaps this year. I am speaking of Racing. With the releases of titles such as GRID and another addition to the ever-popular TrackMania series, it is hard to deny that PC gamers have been getting their fill. So how do you come up with something fresh?
For the past three years EIPIX and Candella Software have been working together to answer that question. What they've come up with is what can best be described as the child of a racer and a shooter. Pyroblazer "is a game of futuristic, full 3D, racing through enclosed tunnels." The big catch however, is the addition of some 20 odd weapons which leaves you hellbent on destroying everything in your sight.
