  • 21CW Final Video Battle Campaign 8

The 21st Century Warfare BF2 Tournament will be fighting their last video broadcasted battle of the year and for Campaign 8 this Wednesday 5th December on E-REV.TV.

21CW news report on last weeks video battle:
On a foggy and swampy river at night, the 15 Airborne Army and 24 Marine Unit clashed for a blood bath. The 24th moves out of their positions and head into battle while the 15th prepare for the incoming assault from the 24MEU. The Marines our beaten back to their starting positions forcing them to hold their north and south flanks unaware the Chinese are planning a further assault. The 15th find a weakness; the middle positions of the Marines are lightly defended.. they head out to exploit the middle position.

The 15th cuts off the 24MEU and pushes out north and south. There is a bulge in the frontlines, grunts in line companies are now given an important task; take the middle back, at all cost. After brutal fighting, the marines regain their lost ground and push the 15 Airborne Army back to their starting positions. There is more, the marines were ordered to push forward and hold positions deep inside enemy lines. The 15th were forced to hold their push and dig in back at what used to be their starting ground. The Chinese do multiple counter attacks, but gain only inches of ground. The men don’t give up. They keep fighting hard and gain very little while losing so much. A blood bath was upon them. This lasted longer than any body thought it would. Finally the Chinese push forward and gain the bridge and retaking back their starting positions. Marines put up a stiff fight. A break came for the marines! The southern flank was barley defended by the Chinese because the main task force was at the bridge. The marines sent 2 companies Alpha, Bravo. Their orders were simple push them back up north. The two companies pushed so fast up, the Chinese put up little resistance. It forced the Chinese to retreat and surrender. Casualties where high, numbers don’t matter, they are too high. Counts are 100,000 to 150,000 bodies lay in waste. The Marines come on top and won the day. The Chinese are now thinking off new tactics, to beat the Americans once and for all.
