Gotta be someway, somewhere a mod could hook their game up to some kind of stats system. I mean seriously if EA can do it, anyone can. And im not being sarcastic either.

Theres already a team working on a stats system for mods http://www.battlefieldranking.net/ approved by EA too from what I remember...

Me personally though, I could give 2 farts about a stats system. My only reason for wanting to rank up is to get weapon unlocks.

I mean it is nice to see how you do with the different kits and all, but as far as wanting to be this or that rank and trying to be in the top stats and all that, I care nothing about. I'll never put in the hours req for that stuff anyway.

IMO this ranked servers crap killed the custom map community, because most people wont play on unranked servers to try them out.

USI is looking very impressive. I'm curious as to how large the maps compare to what vanilla BF2 is offering? Can the map sizes and distances between points be compared to DC for BF1942 or POE for BF Vietnam?

I love the look of the "bridge" on that map. I'm a big flying fan, so taking a look at the helo and jet skins makes me want to play.

Will this .1 release only include one map? The one displayed in the screenshots?

I thought this mod was supposed to be out this month? Has it been delayed or something?

Thats why its better never to give a release date. Set backs and unexpeted things can come at you from every angle.

impatience i guess.
think its the different approach this time around alot of mods have taken. we are getting a .1 release that has alot more in it where as in 42 alot of mods were a few new vehicles and maps in a release but the releases were more numerous and frequent.

wow this looks really great good work to the makers but if i get this when it comes out will i still be able to play normal BF2 or will it say you cant join because you have modified content or something like this???
